Alice Hoffman c'est du léger mais du bien vu, à la recherche des facettes cachées et en nuance. J'avais déjà apprécié d'elle Practical Magic (nettement meilleur que le film qu'on en a tiré en modifiant tout, y compris les personnages) et The River King, mais celui-ci est (sauf erreur) son premier roman écrit à la première personne. Vite lu, intéressant - une bonne lecture de tram.
